\textit{W. Schwick} [Arch. Math. 59, No. 1, 50--54 (1992; Zbl 0758.30028)] first studied the relation between normality and shared values. \textit{X. Liu} and \textit{X. Pang} [Acta Math. Sin., Chin. Ser. 50, No. 2, 409--412 (2007; Zbl 1121.30305)] related the sharing of a set of three elements with the normality of a family of meromorphic functions. The authors of this paper show, by an example, that the cardinality of the shared set cannot be reduced to two. In the paper it is proved that under some restriction on a two-point set shared by every member of a family of meromorphic functions with its derivative ensures the normality of the family.
