The authors provide a proof of a Schur-Weyl duality statement between the Brauer algebra and the ortho-symplectic Lie superalgebra \(\mathfrak{osp}(V)\). The main result provides a canonical algebra isomorphism of a certain Brauer algebra, which can be considered as a generalization of Brauer's centralizer theorem in the classical case to a Lie superalgebra version. Its proof is elementary and relies on a reduction to the general linear Lie superalgebra case. It is expected that such approach can be generalized to the quantized (super) case using the quantised walled Brauer algebras. | |||
