Based on \textit{D. Guan}'s idea [Pac. J. Math. 233, No. 1, 91--124 (2007; Zbl 1154.53043)], the authors investigate generalized Kähler-Ricci solitons which admit a Hamiltonian \(2\)-form, the study being centred on the \(4\)-dimensional toric case. They show that the Kähler-Ricci soliton of the weighted projective plane is: -- the Fubini-Study metric when three weights coincide; -- a Calabi metric when only two weights coincide; -- an orthotoric metric if the weights are all distinct. The authors obtain the explicit expression of the Kähler-Ricci solitons of weighted projective planes which admit a Hamiltonian \(2\)-form. Also, the following result (Theorem 1.2) is proved: Any toric Sasaki-Ricci soliton on \(S^{5}\) admits a transversal Hamiltonian \(2\)-form whose type depends only on the Reeb vector field.
