In \(L_{2}\left[ 0,+\infty \right) \), the Sturm-Liouville operator generated by the expression involving delta functions is considered: \[ l_{a,b,q}:=\frac{d^{2}}{dx^{2}}+\sum_{m=1}^{N}a_{m}\delta (x-b_{m})+q(x), \] where \(q\) is a real valued function locally summable on the semiaxis \(\mathbb{R}_{+}:=\left[ 0,+\infty \right) ,\delta (x)\) stands for the Dirac delta function, \(a=\left( a_{1},\dots ,a_{N}\right) \in\mathbb{R}^{N}\) and \(b=\left( b_{1},\dots ,b_{N}\right) \in\mathbb{R}^{N}\), where \(0<b_{1}<\dots <b_{m}<b_{m+1}<\dots <b_{N}\). The asymptotic behavior of a solution of the Sturm-Liouville equation \[ l_{a,b,q}\left[ y\right] =\lambda y,\;\lambda \neq 0 \] with the initial condition \[ y\left( 0,\lambda \right) =0,\;y^{[1]}\left( 0,\lambda \right) =1 \] is obtained.
