This paper is devoted to alternating directional implicit iterative methods applied for a solution of an elliptic problem. To accelerate convergence a generalization called the bi-parameter incremental unknowns is used. The reduction of condition number is shown by theoretical analysis, and the convergence converge to the unique solution is shown for suitable choice of the parameters. Numerical examples for application to a given elliptic problem are presented.
