Summary: At first we find the solution of the functional equation \[ D_f(x_1, \dots, x_m) : = \sum^m_{k=2}(\sum^k_{i_{1}=2} \sum^{k+1}_{i_{2}=i_{1}+1} \dots \sum^m_{i_{m-k+1}=i_{m-k}+1})f(\sum^m_{i=1,i\neq i_{1},\dots,i_{m-k+1}} x_i - \sum^{m-k+1}_{r=1} x_{i_{r}}) + f(\sum^m_{i=1} x_i) - 2^{m-1} f(x_1) = 0, \] where \(m \geq 2\) is an integer number. Then, we obtain the generalized Hyers-Ulam-Rassias stability in random normed spaces via the fixed point method for the above functional equation. | |||
