In this paper the authors present different results concerning infinite finitely generated and finitely presented groups. The original motivation comes from the work of Gilbert Baumslag. He introduced the big powers condition and the so called Baumslag doubles. Theorems and definitions are presented but no proofs or ideas of proofs are given. Discussed is the CT property: A group has the property of \textit{commutative transitivity} (CT) if commutativity is transitive on nontrivial elements. The authors also discuss conjugately separated abelian groups (CSA), fully residually free groups, universally free groups, elementary theories of groups, limit groups and \(n\)-free groups. The last subject is the isomorphism problem for a class of parafree groups. | |||
