This paper deals with the following general initial value problem for two-phase incompressible flows on a \(n\)-dimensional compact Riemannian manifold \(\Omega\), \(n=2,3\), with or without boundary \[ \displaystyle \partial_t u+A_0 u+(Mu\cdot \nabla)(Nu)+\chi \nabla (Mu)^T\cdot (Nu)+\nabla p= -\varepsilon \text{div}(\nabla \phi \otimes \nabla \phi)+g, \] \[ \displaystyle \partial_t \phi+Nu\cdot \nabla \phi +\varepsilon_1 f(\phi)=0, \] \[ \displaystyle u(0)=u_0, \] \[ \displaystyle \phi(0)=\phi_0. \] The unknowns are \(u\) and \(\phi\), representing the velocity and the order parameter, respectively; \(A_0, A_1, M\) and \(N\) are linear given operators, defined by means of several parameters. For specific values of these parameters, the previous general system leads to specific models of two-phase flows. The main results obtained for the general regularized model presented before are: existence, uniqueness and continuous dependence, regularity results. Some results for singular perturbations are also presented. The existence of global and exponential attractors for the general model is proved. Under some suitable assumptions, it is proved that each trajectory converges to a single equilibrium. The previous analysis is also applied for Navier-Stokes, magnetohydrodynamics, and regularized Ericksen-Leslie models.
