The notion of a Hopf quasigroup is a kind of a generalization of usual Hopf algebras. Comparing with Hopf algebras, Hopf quasigroups are not associative anymore but the lack of this property is compensated by some axioms involving the antipode. As one of important results in Hopf algebras, \textit{D. E. Radford} [J. Algebra 92, 322--347 (1985; Zbl 0549.16003)] proved that there is a natural equivalence between Hopf algebras in \({}^H_H{\mathcal{YD}}\), the category of left-left Yetter-Drinfeld modules over a Hopf algebra \(H\), and the category of Hopf algebras \(B\) with a projection to \(H\). The main result of this paper is to generalize this Radford's result to the Hopf quasigroup case.
