Let \((U(t,s)_{t\geq s})\) be a periodic strongly continuous exponentially bounded evolution family (or evolutionary process) with period \(\tau\) on a Banach space \(X\). Let \(L\) be the generator of the associated evolution semigroup on the space of all \(\tau\)-periodic continuous \(X\)-valued functions. The authors present the isomorphism of the generalized eigenspaces of \(N_L\) of \(L\) and \(N_U\) of \(U\), respectively, where \(N_L:= \ker ((\alpha I - L)^n)\) and \(N_U:= \ker ((e^{\alpha\tau} I - U(\tau,0)^n)\) for all \(\alpha\in\mathbb{C}\) and \(n\geq 1\). They express the generalized eigenfunctions \(u\in N_L\) explicitly in terms of the initial value \(u(0)=w_0\in N_U\) using Stirling numbers.
