The authors apply the Schwarz waveform relaxation method to the one-dimensional Schrödinger equation with a general linear or nonlinear potential (see [\textit{L. Halpern} and \textit{J. Szeftel}, Math. Models Methods Appl. Sci. 20, No. 12, 2167--2199 (2010; Zbl 1213.35192)]). New algorithms for the Schrödinger equation with time-independent linear-potential and a preconditioned algorithm for general potentials are presented. The algorithms for both cases are scalable and reduce significantly the computation time. Some newly constructed absorbing boundary conditions [\textit{X. Antoine} et al., J. Sci. Comput. 64, No. 3, 620--646 (2015; Zbl 1332.78026)] are used as the transmission condition and compared numerically in the framework of the proposed algorithms. The authors adopt the codes developed for Cpus to Gpus, which accelerate the computation.

The authors apply the Schwarz waveform relaxation method to the one-dimensional Schrödinger equation with a general linear or nonlinear potential (see [\textit{L. Halpern} and \textit{J.
