It is well known, from Hartshorne (resp. Mori) that \(C\)-projective surfaces \(P_2\) (resp. \(C\)-projective spaces \(P_n\)) are completely characterized by the ampleness of its tangent bundle. In this paper the author provides extensive investigations of a compact \(C\)-manifold \(X\) such that its tangent bundle is semi-positive in the sense of Griffiths (equivalently compact Kähler manifolds \(X\) such that it admits an Hermitian metric with semi-positive holomorphic bisectional curvature). Along that direction he obtains: Theorem 1.2: Let \(X\) be a compact Kähler manifold with semi-positive holomorphic bisectional curvature. Then its anti-canonical bundle \(K^\ast(X)\) is ample iff it is big. Also counterexamples are provided that such a result does not hold for any vector bundle \(E\). As an application of this result, the author provides (Theorem 1.6) by using Mok's uniformization theorem, a complete classification of compact Kähler manifold with semi-positive holomorphic bisectional curvature. Then Theorem 1.7 provides concrete examples of compact Hermitian manifolds with semi-positive holomorphic bisectional curvature. As a consequence, the author shows that (Corollary 1.12) for Kodaira surfaces or hyperelliptic surfaces, their tangent bundles are nef but not semi-positive in the sense of Griffiths. That motivates the author to investigate compact Kähler manifolds \(X\) such that \(P(T^\ast X)\) has nef tangent bundle. Along that direction he obtains the following characterization: Proposition 1.13. If \(X\) is a Fano manifold, with \(\dim X=n\). Then \(X=P_n\). On the other hand if \(X\) is just an arbitrary compact \(C\)-projective surface, then a complete classification of such \(X\) is established (Theorem 1.14).
