The authors investigate the flow behavior of a viscoelastic second grade fluid in a channel with deformable walls under the effect of electro-kinetic forces. The aim of this work is to throw some light in the transport of viscoelastic bio-fluids through lab-on-a-chip based microsystems. For this purpose they investigate electro-osmotic flows generated in the system. Assuming a set of suitable constitutive equations a mathematical analysis is presented in order to quantify the effect of viscoelastic parameter in the ionized motion of the viscoelastic fluid. By introducing a perturbation scheme they obtain the analytical solution to the field equations. The derived expressions have been computed for some special cases. The result of computation for different physical quantities of the special interest are presented in graphical form. The work is well-written and may find readers working in the area of electro-bio-fluids.
