The authors propose an approximate method for the numerical treatment of linear singularly perturbed two-point boundary value problems with a boundary layer on the left end of the given interval. The original problem is converted into inner and outer region problems and the trapezoidal formula coupled with a discrete invariant imbedding algorithm is used to obtain numerical solution. Three examples are included to demonstrate the applicability of the proposed method.
