This paper gives an effective formula for the matrix coefficients of Weil representations attached to finite quadratic module. A finite quadratic module is a finite abelian group equipped with a quadratic form. To each of them, say~\(D\), one can attach a Weil representation, say~\(\rho_D\), of the metaplectic cover~\(\mathrm{Mp}_{2}(\mathbb{Z})\) of \(\mathrm{SL}_{2}(\mathbb{Z})\). The definition of~\(\rho_D\) involves only the images of two generators~\(T\) and~\(S\) of \(\mathrm{Mp}_{2}(\mathbb{Z})\). The images of arbitary elements is not part of the definition. In fact, it is nontrival to obtain closed formulas that are sufficiently simple for applications. In [Int. Math. Res. Not. 2009, No. 8, 1488--1545 (2009; Zbl 1244.11043)], \textit{N. R. Scheithauer} solved this problem for finite quadratic modules of even signature, where the signature is an invariant of finite quadratic modules taking values in \(\mathbb{Z} \slash 8 \mathbb{Z}\). The case of odd signature is treated in the present work.
