The author constructs a new class of simple modules over the Leavitt path algebra \(L_K(E)\) associated to an arbitrary graph \(E\) with no restriction of the ground field \(K\). The construction uses vertices emitting infinitely many edges in \(E\). By describing the annihilating primitive ideals of these simple modules, the author shows that these new simple modules are not isomorphic to any of the previously constructed simple \(L_K(E)\)-modules in previous works. The work also provides: (1) The computation of the cardinality of the set of all simple \(L_K(E)\)-modules isomorphic to a prescribed one. (2) Bounds for the cardinality of the set of distinct isomorphism classes of simple \(L_K(E)\)-modules. The author uses a Boolean subring of idempotents induced by paths in the graph \(E\). It turns out that if \(L_K(E)\) is, for instance, a countable dimensional simple algebra, then it will have \(1\) or at least \(2^{\aleph_0}\) distinct isomorphism classes of simple modules. The work includes also a complete structure theorem of the Leavitt path algebras \(L_K(E)\) of a finite graph \(E\) such that every simple module is finitely presented.
