One considers a random Anderson Hamiltonian function defined by the equation \(\text{Hamiltonian}=\text{Laplacian} +kQ\) where \(k\) is a small positive coupling constant, and \(Q\) denotes an i.i.d. random potential function taking values in the set of \(2\times 2\) real symmetric matrices \(\mathrm{Sym}(2,\mathbb{R} )\). It is shown that when \(k\) is sufficiently small, \(H\) has purely absolutely continuous spectrum located almost surely in a given known subinterval.
