Sweeping of three-dimensional objects (Q1814027): Difference between revisions

This paper first considers surfaces \(f(x,y,z)=0\). As we let this surface move along a space curve, a swept volume \(f(x,y,z,t)=0\) is obtained. The paper then turns to finding the envelope of this hypersurface, i.e., a 3D surface. An application is given to find silhouette lines for \(2D\) viewing of these surfaces.
