The system \(a(H(u))-\partial u/\partial t=f\) is considered in \(Q=\Omega\times(0,T)\), where \(\Omega\subset\mathbb{R}^ n\) is bounded, \(\partial\Omega\in C^ 2\), \(H(u)=\{D_{ij}u\}\), \(i,j=1,\ldots,n\), \(u\): \(Q\to\mathbb{R}^ N\), and in some sense the operator \(a(H(u))-\partial u/\partial t\) is near the linear operator \(\Delta u-\alpha\;\partial u/\partial t\). It is shown that the above system has a unique solution \(u\in L^ 2(0,T,H^ 2\cap H^ 1_ 0(\Omega))\) with \(\partial u/\partial t\in L^ 2(Q)\), \(u(x,0)=0\) in \(\Omega\). Further, smoothness of solutions is investigated.
