Examples are given to show that the completed injective tensor product of quasinormable Fréchet spaces \(E\) and \(F\), unlike the projective tensor product, need not be quasinormable. As a matter of fact, one can take a quojection \(E\) and a Banach space \(F\) to obtain a counterexample. Another counterexample, with \(E\) a strict \((LB)\)-space and \(F\) a Banach space, is presented, and some consequences on spaces of holomorphic functions are derived.
