The paper deals with the uniform convergence of truncated Hermite interpolation on an arbitrary system of nodes. \textit{P. Vertesi} and \textit{Y. Xu} (Stud. Sci. Hung. 28, No.~1-2, 205-213 (1993; Zbl 0799.41005)] have studied the convergence of truncated Hermite interpolation on the zeros of the Jacobi polynomials in both the weighted \(L^p\) and uniform norms. Criteria of convergence including a theorem of Grünwald-type and the rate of convergence in terms of the modulus \(\omega_\phi (f,t)\) of Ditzian and Totik for truncated Hermite interpolation on an arbitrary system of nodes are given by the author.
