Multiplicative perturbations of \(C\)-regularized semigroups (Q5948782): Difference between revisions

The authors give perturbations results concerning \(C\)-regularized semigroups.They show in particular that if \(A\) is a subgenerator of a \(C\)-regularized semigroup \(\{S(t)\}\) on a Banach space \(X\), \(B\in L(X)\) commutes with \(C\) and has a smaller range, \(\int_0^t S(t-s) C^{-1} B f(s) ds\) belongs to the domain of \(A\) for \(f\in C([0,t]), X)\) as well as \(\|A \int_0^t S(t-s) C^{-1} B f(s) ds \|\leq \gamma(t) \max_{s\in[0,t]} \|f(s)\|\) with some suitable \(\gamma\), then \(A(I+B)\) subgenerates a \(C\)-regularized semigroup.
