Lagrange and Hermite interpolation problems are at the core of numerical analysis, used, among other purposes, for approximation and for instance for quadrature formulae. In this paper, the Hermite interpolation problem is considered on intervals (with polynomials) and the circle. The questions thus addressed are the questions of convergence of the interpolants to continuous functions depending on the choice of interpolation points and/or the choice of the measure with respect to which the polynomials in use for interpolation are MOPS (monic orthogonal polynomials).
