Let \(f\) and \(g\) arithmetical functions. The authors study convolution sums \(\sum_{n\leq N} f(n)\,g(n+h)\). If \(f\) and \(g\) have absolutely convergent Ramanujan expansions \(f(u)= \sum_{v\geq 1}\widehat f(v)c_v(n)\) and concrete estimates of the coefficients \(\widehat f(v)\) are known, an estimate of the convolution sum can be proved. The authors use a new method of finite Ramanujan sums (to truncate the coefficients) an so avoid convergence problems.
