The Minimal Resolution Conjecture (MRC) (stated by Lorenzini) for points in projective space roughly says that there are no ghost terms in the graded minimal free resolution for a general set of points. Mustaţǎ generalized it to a general set of points lying on a projective variety. In this paper the authors study the MRC for points on cubic surfaces in \(\mathbb P^3\) generalizing the results of Casanellas. In particular they verify the MRC for any number of points, allowing also the cubic surface to have isolated double points. The main tool (as in the paper of Casanellas) is the Gorenstein liaison, that the authors use in a more efficient way.
