The authors study the boundary value problem for the Sturm-Liouville equation \(-y''+q(x)y=\lambda y\), \(0<x<1\), with the boundary conditions \(y(0)\cos\alpha=y'(0)\sin\alpha\), \((y'/y)(1)=f(\lambda)\), where \(f(\lambda)\) is a rational function. Formulae are given for constructing the Weyl function from the eigenvalues and the norming constants of this boundary value problem.
