Dynamics of an equation with a large coefficient of delay control (Q656307): Difference between revisions

The paper investigates the dynamics of the complex Stuart-Landau limit-cycle oscillator controlled by delayed feedback. The case of large feedback gain is considered. It is shown that the behaviour of a certain collection of solutions of the considered system can be determined by the dynamics of a one-parameter family of periodic boundary value problems for a complex equation of Ginzburg-Landau type. The presented approach can also be generalized to a multi-parameter family of nonlinear parabolic boundary value problems as well as extended to the case when an additional phase shift is included in the feedback term. The paper also discusses the case of large delay.
