The authors prove existence of multiple solutions to the Dirichlet problem \[ \begin{cases} \Delta_pu+f(u)=0 & \text{ in }\;\Omega,\\ u=0 & \text{ on }\;\partial\Omega, \end{cases} \] where \(\Omega\subset\mathbb{R}^N,\) \(N\geq2\), is a bounded and smooth domain, \(p\in(1,2)\), \(\Delta_p\) is the \(p\)-Laplacian, and \(f:\;\mathbb{R}\to \mathbb{R}\) is a uniformly \((p-1)\)-Hölder continuous function, \(f(0)=0\), \(f(\alpha)\leq0\leq f(-\alpha)\) for some \(\alpha>0\) and both limits \(\lim_{t\to0}\frac{f(t)}{|t|^{p-2}t}\) and \(\lim_{t\to\infty}\frac{f(t)}{|t|^{p-2}t}\) are strictly greater than the first eigenvalue of the problem \[ \begin{cases} -\Delta_pu=\lambda|u|^{p-2}u & \text{ in }\;\Omega,\\ u=0 & \text{ on }\;\partial\Omega. \end{cases} \] The proofs rely on routine approach based on bifurcation from infinity and from zero to get existence of unbounded branches of positive/negative solutions.
