Summary: Families of matrix-valued analytic functions \(W(\rho,P)\) depending on two parameters \(\rho\) and \(P\) are introduced. These include as special cases the Schur and Carathéodory functions, as well as classes of functions studied by the authors in [J. Math. Anal. Appl. 182, No. 1, 1-22 (1994; Zbl 0796.30033)] and by the first author and \textit{H. Dym} [Oper. Theory, Adv. Appl. 59, 30-77 (1992; Zbl 0793.47010)]. A two-sided Nevanlinna-Pick interpolation problem is defined and solved in \(W(\rho,P)\) using the fundamental matrix inequality method.
