The present paper is concerned with a Cauchy problem for a semilinear heat equation \[ \begin{cases} u_t=\Delta u+u^p\quad & \text{in }\mathbb R^N\times (O,\infty),\\ u(x,0)=u_0(x)\geq 0& \text{in }N\end{cases}\tag{P} \] with \(p>1\) and \(u_0\in L^\infty(\mathbb R^N)\). We show that if \(p>\frac{N-2\sqrt{N-1}}{N-4-2\sqrt{N-1}}\) and \(N\geq 11\), then for each positive integer \(n\geq 2\) there exist \(T_i > 0\), \(i =1,2,\dots,n\), with \(T_1< T_2 <\cdots < T_n < +\infty\) and a global \(L^1\)-solution \(u\) of (P) such that \(u\) is a regular solution of (P) for \(t\in [0,\infty) \setminus\{T_1,T_2,\dots,T_n\}\) and blows up at \(t = T_i\) for \(i = 1,2,\dots,n\). For part I see Math. Ann. 331, No.~2, 461--473 (2005; Zbl 1063.35079).
