The author defines a fourth invariant of a triangle T in a complex, respectively quaternion n-dimensional projective (or hyperbolic) space; \(n\geq 2\). The remaining three invariants for the triangle T are the length of the sides. The four invariants determine the triangle uniquely up to isometries. There are given inequalities for the exact range of the invariants and there are deduced trigonometry laws and congruence theorems for triangles.
