The authors give using - matrix methods - a common approach to Nikodym's convergence theorem and Nikodym's boundedness theorem for s-bounded finitely additive set functions, to a group version of Banach-Steinhaus' boundedness principle and of Banach's theorem about the continuity of the pointwise limit of a sequence of continuous homomorphisms.
