A Lyapunov equation described by \(XL-BX=C\) is studied where L,B, and C are given linear operators acting in infinite-dimensional Hilbert spaces, and L a uniformly elliptic differential operator of order 2 with a generalized Neumann boundary condition in a bounded domain \(\Omega\) of an Euclidean space. The equation is derived from a specific parabolic boundary control system. When the coefficients of L, especially those in the principal part and in the boundary condition are perturbed, the domain of definition of L is also perturbed. It is shown that the solution X is strongly continuous relative to the coefficients of L, and that the strong continuity is uniform in every bounded set of \(L^ 2(\Omega)\).
