Let \(\Omega\) be a bounded \(C^\infty\) domain in \(\mathbb R^3\). Let \(u_j \to u\) weakly in \(L_r (\Omega)\), \(1<r<\infty\), \(v_j \to v\) weakly in \(L_{r'} (\Omega)\) such that \(\{\operatorname{div} u_j \}^\infty_{j=1}\) is bounded in some \(L_q (\Omega)\) and \(\{ \operatorname{rot}v_j \}^\infty_{j=1}\) is bounded in some \(L_s (\Omega)\) complemented by some boundary conditions. Then \[ \int_\Omega u_j v_j \, dx \to \int_\Omega u v \, dx. \] This is the main assertion of the paper (Theorem 1.1), complementing previous results about distributional limits of \(u_j v_j \to uv\). There are several corollaries about Helmholtz-Weyl decompositions.
