The authors consider the oscillation conditions for the second order system of differential equations \[ [P(t)y'(t)]'+Q(t)y(t)=0,\quad for\quad t\in [0,\infty), \] where P and Q are \(n\times n\) real, symmetric, matrix-valued functions on `0,\(\infty)\) and y is an n-column vector. P(t) is assumed to be positive definite for all t.
