Bounded domains with prescribed group of automorphisms (Q1104460): Difference between revisions

It is shown that any compact and connected Lie group is the automorphism group of a strongly pseudoconvex domain with real analytic boundary. This is an interesting result and the construction presented in this paper is quite explicit. In the general case, the strongly pseudoconvex domain, with a given compact and connected Lie group G as the group of automorphisms, is constructed inside the complexification of G. The introduction of this otherwise nice paper contains an unfortunate remark. There certainly are Riemann surfaces with the circle group as the group of automorphisms.
