Various conditions are obtained that insure that the generalized inverse of a matrix has only positive or non-negative principal minors. Some results on M-matrices and \(n\times n\) rank n-1 matrices are included as well as conditions that make the Moore-Penrose inverse of I-T, T stochastic, have nonnegative principal minors. The proofs involve bordering matrices, determinants and continuity arguments.
