Let M be a real hypersurface of a complete connected Kählerian manifold M(c) of constant holomorphic sectional curvature c. M is endowed with an almost-complex structure J induced by the complex structure of M(c). Denote by A and \(\sigma\) the Weingarten map and the second fundamental form of M in M(c) respectively. M is called cyclic-parallel if the cyclic sum of \(\nabla \sigma\) vanishes, namely \(S_{X,Y,Z}(\nabla_ X\sigma)(Y,Z)=0.\) The author assumes that the curvature c of M(c) is \(\neq 0\) and proves the equivalence of the two following statements: (1) M is cyclic-parallel. (2) \(JA=AJ\). He applies this result to classify the complete connected cyclic-parallel hypersurfaces of M(c) with \(c\neq 0.\) In fact \textit{M. Okumura} [Trans. Am. Math. Soc. 212, 355-364 (1975; Zbl 0288.53043)] and \textit{S. Montiel} and \textit{A. Romero} [Geom. Dedicata 20, 245-261 (1986; Zbl 0587.53052)] classified the real hypersurfaces M with \(JA=AJ\) for the ambient space \(=P_ n({\mathbb{C}})\) or \(=H_ n({\mathbb{C}})\) respectively. The author gives a direct proof of the equivalence between (1) and (2), and uses then well-known results concerning the real hypersurfaces with \(JA=AJ\) to derive his classification theorem.
