In this paper, the author developed a formalism for describing the influence matrix method in a general geometry. This formalism permitted to apply the method of cylindrical coordinates with complicated boundary and coordinate singularity at the axis. Numerical experiments are performed for validation of the method. The results pertaining to Rayleigh-Bernard conversion to be included in future paper is also indicated.
