A measure on the space of smooth mappings and dynamical system theory (Q1201772): Difference between revisions

The author considers a class of probability measures on the space of maps with some smoothness with respect to parallel translations and proposes a framework to decide negligible subsets in the space of smooth maps by using them. The following results about properties of the constructed measure are obtained: the introduced system is consistent; a version of Thom's transversality theorem holds in this framework; and the constructed measure is compatible with the Lebesgue measure in some sense.
