In rational homotopy theory, Sullivan models deal with differential graded algebras whereas Quillen models deal with differential graded Lie algebras. Both contain all the rational homotopy types of the space. In this paper, the author develops a similar theory by replacing the pair (Lie algebras, commutative algebras) by the pair (Leibniz algebras, Leibniz-dual algebras) that are Koszul dual in the sense of operads (Ginzburg-Kapranov). The author defines the homotopy and the homology of a differential graded Leibniz algebra, proves that construction of minimal models is valid in this framework and constructs a pair of adjoint functors preserving weak equivalences between differential graded Leibniz algebras and differential graded Leibniz-dual algebras. Leibniz versions of classical theorems are proved (Hurewicz theorem, Freudenthal suspension theorem) and \(n\)-Leibniz spheres are defined. This paper is an interesting non-commutative extension of rational homotopy theory.
