Let \(\Delta\) and \(\partial\Delta\) be the open unit disk and the unit circle in the complex plane \({\mathbb C}\). Let \(dm(z)\) denote the Lebesgue measure on \(\Delta\). For \(0<\alpha<{1\over 2}\) the (periodic) Sobolev space \({\mathcal L}^2_{\alpha}\) on \(\partial\Delta\) is defined the space of functions \(f\in L^2(\partial\Delta)\) with \[ \| f\|_{\alpha}=\| f \|_{L^2(\partial\Delta)} + \left[\int_{\partial\Delta}\int_{\partial\Delta} {| f(z\bar w) -f(z)| ^2\over | w-1| ^{1+2\alpha}}| dz| | dw| \right]^{1\over 2} <\infty. \] Let \(M({\mathcal L}_{\alpha}^2)\) be the space of multipliers of \({\mathcal L}_{\alpha}^2\), that is \(M({\mathcal L}_{\alpha}^2)= \{g\in {\mathcal L}_{\alpha}^2 : f\in {\mathcal L}_{\alpha}^2 \Rightarrow fg \in {\mathcal L}_{\alpha}^2\}\). The Dirichlet type space \({\mathcal D}_{\alpha}\) on \(\Delta\) and its multipliers space \(M({\mathcal D}_{\alpha})\) are obtained from \({\mathcal L}_{\alpha}^2\) and \(M({\mathcal L}_{\alpha}^2)\) by analytic extension. The author continues the result of \textit{L. Hörmander} [Bull. Am. Math. Soc. 73, 943--949 (1967; Zbl 0172.41701)] on the \(\overline{\partial}\)-problem in \(L^{\infty}(\partial\Delta)\) and proves the following theorem: If \(| g(z)| ^2(1-| z| ^2)^{1-2\alpha}dm(z)\) is an \(\alpha\)-Carleson measure on \(\Delta\), then there is a function \(f\) defined on the closed unit disk such that \({\partial f\over \partial \bar z}=g\) on \(\Delta\), and such that the boundary value function \(f\) belongs to \(M({\mathcal L}^2_{\alpha})\). As consequences, the author solves the corona problem in \(M({\mathcal D}_{\alpha})\) and obtains a characterization of a interpolating sequences for \(M({\mathcal D}_{\alpha})\), \(0<\alpha<{1\over 2}\).
