Analysis of strong singularities for nonlinear hyperbolic equations (Q1364897): Difference between revisions

We review some results obtained by us about the strongly singular problems for nonlinear hyperbolic equations in multidimensional spaces, and give some new results additionally. Here the strong singularities can be divided into two classes:in the first one, the order of the Sobolev spaces is less than half of the space-time dimensions, and greater than a positive number; the other one is in the form of delta functions and their derivatives. In both cases the existence and regularity of solutions are unknown. The contents of this paper is arranged as follows: 1. Cauchy problem, 2. Goursat problem and 3. Delta waves.
