A \(P\)-fuzzy subalgebra of an algebra \(A\) is a mapping \(M: A\to P\) (where \(P\) is a partially ordered set) such that for every \(p\in P\) the level set \(M_p= \{x\mid x\in A, M(x)\geq p\}\) is a subalgebra of \(A\). In case \(P\) is a lattice \(L\), \(M\) is called an \(L\)-fuzzy subalgebra of \(A\). The author studies conditions on an algebra \(A\) under which every of its \(P\)-fuzzy subalgebras can be identified in a canonical way with a certain \(L\)-fuzzy subalgebra of \(A\).
