A set \(S\) of positive integers is said to be a \(k\)-sum-free set if \(2A\cap A=\emptyset\). A set which is a \(j\)-sum-free set for every \(2\leq j\leq k\) is said to be a strongly \(k\)-sum-free set. The authors describe the structure of \(k\)-sum-free sets and strongly \(k\)-sum-free sets having large upper density.
