Two-point boundary value problems are considered \[ -u''= f(t,u,u'), \quad t\in [0,1],\quad u(0)= a,\quad u(1)=b. \tag{1} \] Having a number of assumptions with respect to functions \(f(t,u,v)\) and with respect to the existence of lower and upper solutions of the problem (1) by the method of quasilinearization it is proved the existence of a monotone sequence, which in a quadratic way converges to a unique solution of the problem (1).
