Regular solutions of nonlinear differential-algebraic equations and their numerical determination (Q1392418): Difference between revisions

The local existence and uniqueness theory for a class of nonlinear differential-algebraic equations (possibly higher index) is presented. The solutions of the above problem are regular. Numerical methods for the determination of consistent initial values and for the approximation of regular solutions are developed on the basis of the presented important theoretical results. A number of numerical illustrations are also presented.
