The main theorem of the paper is the following: Let \(H:\mathbb{G}\rightarrow\lim\text{Diff}^2_+\left(\left[ 0,1\right]\right)\) be a representation of a finitely generated group \(\mathbb{G}\). Suppose that there are \(\psi\in\lim\text{Aut}\left(\mathbb{G}\right)\) and \(f\in\lim\text{Diff}^2_+\left(\left[ 0,1\right]\right)\) such that \(H_{\psi\left(\alpha\right)}=f\circ H_{\alpha}\circ f^{-1}\) for \(\alpha\in\mathbb{G}\). If \(\lim\text{Im}\left( H\right)\) is a commutative subgroup of \(\lim\text{Diff}^2_+\left(\left[ 0,1\right]\right)\) then \(\lim\text{Fix}\left( f\right)\supset\lim\text{Fr}\left(\lim\text{Fix}\left( H\right)\right)\). Applying this result to foliations almost without holonomy the authors prove the periodicity of all compact leaves with nontrivial holonomy. The diffeomorphisms which are \(C^2\) close to the identity and preserve the codimension one foliation are also studied.
