Static output feedback control of linear time-invariant discrete-time systems is considered. Under some structural constraints involving minimum-phase zeros, it is shown that such systems can be stabilized by output feedback gains that can be easily computed using the system matrices. For uncertain parameters that satisfy special matching conditions, it is also shown that robust stabilization can be achieved. An example is given for illustration.
