The Lü attractor is a new chaotic attractor, that connects the Lorenz attractor and the Chen attractor and represents a transition from one to the other. An effective observer is produced to identify the unknown parameters of the Lü system. Moreover, a linear feedback control strategy is proposed for controlling an uncertain Lü system. Numerical simulations show the effectiveness and feasibility of the proposed controllers.
